The Lark's Head Cuff


Howdy again riggers,

  This week we'll be taking a close look at the Lark's Head Cuff. This classic reverse tension single column tie is an excellent choice for building up chest and hip harnesses as well as for securely capturing the limbs of those naughty eels that just love to give you the slip. In the first part of this video, I demonstrate the steps required to tie this on a closed column. Then in the second half of the video, I present several techniques you can use to tie the Lark's Head Cuff more quickly on an open column.
